1. Acceptance of these terms

By using SnipDock you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. SnipDock is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]; questions can go to [CONTACT EMAIL].

2. What the service is

SnipDock is a temporary transfer tool. You paste text or upload a file, we give you a pickup code, short link and QR code, and the recipient can retrieve it until it expires. Content is stored temporarily and deleted automatically — SnipDock is not a backup service, not a file hosting service, and not a long-term archive.

3. Prohibited content and use

You may not use SnipDock to transfer or store:

• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, including child sexual abuse material and content that exploits minors.
• Malware, exploits, ransomware, or files designed to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems.
• Personal data of third parties published without a lawful basis, or credentials and access keys obtained without authorization.
• Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or trade secrets.
• Threats, harassment, hate speech, or content intended to defraud others.

We may rate limit, block, or delete any transfer and restrict access to the service where we believe these terms are being violated. We do not proactively scan content, so responsibility for what you transfer stays with you.

4. Not end-to-end encrypted

SnipDock does not offer end-to-end encryption. Content is stored on our infrastructure until it expires and could be read by us or disclosed in response to a valid legal request. Do not transfer secrets you cannot afford to expose.

5. Availability and warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that a transfer will always be available, that it will not be deleted early (for example if storage limits or abuse controls are triggered), or that content will be byte-for-byte identical after transfer.

6. Pro subscriptions

Pro is an optional paid plan billed monthly or annually by Stripe. It adds a transfer history, instant destroy, and 30-day retention. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel or update payment details at any time through the billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for loss of content, loss of profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of SnipDock.

8. Changes to the service or terms

We may change these terms or the service itself, including limits and retention windows. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
